Elephant House Quartet continues the series of release concerts of the quartet’s first CD with works by G. P. Telemann at a number of concerts in and around Copenhagen. The second concert in the series takes place this afternoon. Free access. 5pm.

Elephant House Quartet celebrates the release of the Quartet’s first CD with a series of G. P. Telemann works at a number of concerts in and around Copenhagen. The first concert takes place in Ordrup Church where you will be able to hear works from the recording and buy the CD at a discounted price. Free access. 7:30pm

The Elephant House Quartet present the release concert of the quartet’s first CD with works by G. P. Telemann. The recording took place in the beautiful acoustics of the Garrison Church and in addition to the music, attendees will be able to hear works from the recording, live in the church and enjoy some refreshments in the church ward. Free access. 6pm.

Frederiksborg Barok would like to invite the audience to a musical tour on Saturday and Sunday, September 28th and 29th, where paintings, sculptures, and architecture are put into a musical context and the history of the castle is told. The tour is complemented with musical moments on instruments from the historical period of the castle and concluded with a 20 min. concert in the Hall of Knights with, amongst others, Bine Bryndorf on harpsichord, Reiko Ichise and Adam Grauman, Toshinori Ozaki and Ryosuke Sakamoto on lute, Aureliusz Goliński on violin, Bolette Roed on recorder and others. Access available with a normal ticket to the Castle. 12:30pm

Elephant House Quartet will perform a selection of G. Ph. Telemann works from our upcoming Pentatone release in Frederiksværk music festival.

Magnificence – As part of the Copenhagen Baroque Festival, Allan Rasmussen (harpsichord) and Bolette Roed will perform as soloist along with Polish Baroque ensemble Arte dei Suonatori. The program will include J. S. Bach’s 3rd Suite in D-major for strings (BWV 1068) and pieces by A. Vivaldi. 3pm. Entrance fee: 120 kr (full festival tickets also available on the festival’s site). 

Elegance – Get close to the musicians and their instruments in the charming parlor of the parish overlooking the Round Tower and busy pedestrian streets. Telemann’s famous Paris Quartets (TWV 43) blend in with Copenhagen’s vibrant life. A complimentary glass of wine and French sweets will be provided. As part of the Copenhagen Baroque Festival, Elephant House Quartet will perform the aforementioned work. 4:30pm. Entrance fee: 120 kr (full festival tickets also available on the festival’s site).
