Andreas Borregaard
(f. 1981) begyndte som 5-årig at spille accordeon på Allerød Musikskole. Igennem årene på musikskolen, har han deltaget i og vundet mange nationale såvel som internationale konkurrencer. Blandt andet kan nævnes 1. pris ved det skandinaviske Frossini Grand Prix for accordeonister (1996) samt Guldmedalje ved Berlingske Tidendes Klassiske Musikkonkurrence (1998).
I 2001 søgte han ind på DKDM, hvor han siden har studeret hos både James Crabb og Geir Draugsvoll. I 2003 blev han tildelt Rødovre Handels- og Erhvervsråds Talentpris, og i maj måned dette år tog han sin afsluttende 4.års eksamen med karakteren 13. Han er aktuelt studerende i konservatoriets Diplomuddannelse, som forventes afsluttet næste sommer.
Andreas Borregaard
(b. 1981) started his musical training on accordion as 5-year old at Allerød Music School. Throughout the years at this music school he participated in and won several competitions – First prize at the Scandinavian Frossini Grand Prix for accordionists (1996) as well as Gold medal at the prestigious “Berlingske Tidendes Klassiske Musikkonkurrence” (1998).
In 2001 he entered The Royal Danish Music Academy, and began his studies by James Crabb and Geir Draugsvoll. In 2003 he was given yet another prize – the “Rødovre Handels- og Erhvervsråds Talentpris”, and May same year he finished his masters, and continued studying in the soloist class. He graduted in 2009. Since 2010 he teaches accordion at The Royal Danish Music Academy, Copenhagen. He tours world-wide with his ensembles, Gaman and Duo Inviolata.
